time does fly! it's been a bloody long time since the last bloody-wicked news update. it's not that you've missed much, but it did made me realise how little i've been doing things i actually like doing lately...

dead head - depression tank designed

finally some design news:
i'm proud to present my latest creation which i made for dutch deathrashers dead head. this cd cover design was made for their upcoming full length album “depression tank”, which will be released on february 16th 2009 through displeased records.

not only the cd cover design, but the entire package has been subject to my conceptual design. check it's release page to read all about it.. both dead head and myself are very pleased with the result and are curious about your opinion: you can rate it 1-5 stars to share it with us

it has been quite a while since the last time there was something new at bloody-wicked.com so here's a little update on what changed over here and what i've been doing.

first of all, as you can see, bloody-wicked.com has been expanded with a news archive. providing a better overview and a descent amount of space to store my monologues

for those who prefer to keep in touch through social networks several bloody-wicked profiles were created. you can hook up with me at facebook, myspace or last.fm which on which i'm most active myself. you're free to connect to me through hyves or orkut aswell, but keep in mind i only check in every now and then...

rating system for new designs

as promised i added a 5 star rating mechanism to bloody-wicked.com.
from now on, each new design will get it's own rating element.
this enables you to share your opinion and me to get a little insight in the appreciation of the designs
currently two rating elements are present, one over here and one over here

with the addition of the merchandise design page bloody-wicked.com's core is finally complete!
slight chance a rating system will be added later today, but after that it's back to what this is all about: concept cover design.

to prevent you from having to go back and forth to the coverflow page when checking out the cover detail pages, an image based subnavigation was added to all the cover detail pages.

new: 'toggle full screen' feature in the cover-flow

today i implemented a new version of the mooflow script on bloody-wicked.com.
nice new feature is a full screen mode...
well, full window is probably more correct. B)

unfortunately this version still has some bugs preventing me from storing your last viewed cover
that will make you go through all (*ahum*) of them each time you visit the cover-design page.

quite sure it will be corrected soon.

after several weeks designing and coding bloody-wicked.com finally is live.
as you'll see not everything is perfect yet (or even there for that matter). but in order to get started this edition (call it phase one if you like) was released.

still a lot to be done. here's a list of what you can expect in the future:

improved (sub) navigation for the cover design page
extended contact page
improved content. especially for the pages dealing with 'older' releases
web- / merchandise design pages
search engine
rating system for unreleased designs

and of course new concepts!
just hang on to this rss feed and news will be served when it's hot!
